Free web tools for musicians.
A metronome, a tuner, a BPM counter, a capo chart and a note table, running in your browser. No install, no account, nothing to download before you can use them.
Online metronome
A metronome in your browser. Set the tempo from 20 to 300 BPM, choose a time signature and subdivisions, and keep the click running while you play.
Online guitar tuner
A chromatic tuner in your browser. Play a note and see the pitch, the nearest note and how many cents sharp or flat you are. Guitar, bass, ukulele and violin.
BPM counter
Tap along to a song and get its BPM in the browser. Shows the tempo, the subdivision you are tapping and how long a bar lasts, with the standard tempo words.
Capo chart
A guitar capo chart. Play an open C shape with the capo on fret 2 and it sounds as D. Every position to the seventh fret, and the shapes that sound each key.
Note to frequency
Look up any note in hertz, or any frequency as a note. A4 is 440 Hz; the table runs from C0 at 16.35 Hz to C8 at 4186 Hz, each with its cents offset.
Where they come from
These pages are made by the same studio that makes the SUS4 apps, and they do less than the apps on purpose. A browser page has one advantage: it is there when you need it, on a machine you have never opened an app on. When a tool stops being enough, the app that does the job properly is linked on the page.
- The microphone is only ever used on the tuner page, when you press Listen, and nothing is uploaded.
- No cookies are set to make a tool work, and no account is needed to use one.
- Everything runs on your device: the pitch detection, the click and the arithmetic.
