The labelSUS4 Records is an independent UK record label
SUS4 Records is the label of 4ChordsStudios. We release funk, soul, neo-soul and brass-led jazz-dance. We write the songs with our artists, record them live in our own studio, film every session, and mix for stereo and Dolby Atmos.
What we release
Funk, soul and neo-soul, and jazz-dance with brass at the front of it. Grooves played by a band in one room, horns and keys arranged for the song, and a voice that carries it. If a song wants strings, a Steinway or a steel pan, they are already on the 4ChordsStudios floor.

Our artists
A small roster, so every record gets the time it needs.
What is different here
A songwriting and recording partnership
We are in the room for the writing, not just the recording. Bring a voice note, a lyric or a finished demo and we develop it with you, then bring in the players the song needs. We stay on your side long after release day.
Every session filmed
Sessions are tracked live and filmed from several angles while you play. Every release comes with live session films, so there is something to watch as well as something to hear.
Stereo and Dolby Atmos
Every release is mixed and mastered in stereo and in Dolby Atmos, in the 4ChordsStudios immersive room, so the record holds up on a phone speaker and opens out on a good system.
Talk to us about your music
SUS4 Records works with a small number of artists at a time, so the roster grows slowly. If what you are making sits anywhere near this, send it over and we will listen properly.
