What is new in 1.3.0
Most of the apps gained a short practice game built into the tool, rather than one headline feature.
- Tuner has long tones: hold a note for 4, 8 or 12 seconds and see how steady it stayed, plus a map of the notes you tend to play sharp or flat.
- Metronome scores each of your hits against the click after a count-in.
- Chord ID asks you to name the chord you hear, or to call as many changes as you can in a minute.
- Transcribe has Mystery Tune: work out a chord progression bar by bar from the home chord.
- Mix Check is an ear game for engineers: name the frequency band that was boosted or cut.
- Drum Pad plays a groove, then you play it back.
- Setlist opens a song in another SUS4 app with its key, tempo, capo and tuning already set.
- All-Access gains an annual plan next to the monthly plan and the lifetime purchase. 50 App Store languages.
Per-app release notes are on the changelog.
The plugins: fact sheet
- Plugins
- 25 in one suite, current release
- The idea
- Each plugin works as a clean, predictable tool. Each also has a Sus switch that changes what it does: the compressor turns into a negative compressor, the reverb swells in before the note, the gate cuts rhythmic holes through the loudest hits.
- Formats
- macOS (universal, macOS 12 or later): VST3, AU and AUv3. Windows 64-bit: VST3. Linux x86_64: VST3.
- Not supported
- No AAX, CLAP or VST2, and no standalone app.
- Pricing
- Free to download; Pro features by subscription. One licence covers all plugins.
- Trial
- Seven days, started on the plugins page. A card is needed and is not charged for seven days. Without a licence the plugins pass audio through untouched.
- Demo audio
- Clean and Sus audio for Aurum 670, Bond 609, Compressor, Delay and Reverb, on each plugin page.
