SUS4 Backing Tracks

SUS4 Backing Tracks lets you practise and perform with real-band backing in any key and tempo. Available on iPhone, iPad and Mac, you can transpose any track to the key you need and adjust the tempo to match where you are in your practice progression.

The tracks are produced with live musicians rather than synthesised arrangements, so the interaction with a real ensemble is part of what you are practising. Pitch and tempo shifting is independent. Slow the tempo to work on a difficult passage without dropping the pitch, or raise the key without changing the feel.

Practising with a backing track is different from practising alone. You are accountable to the time and the harmonic context in a way that solo practice does not demand. SUS4 Backing Tracks makes that accountability available without needing other musicians in the room.
