SUS4 Drum Pad gives you sixteen velocity-sensitive pads for playing beats on any surface: screen, desk, or any flat area. Available on iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple Watch, the pads respond to tap velocity so harder taps produce louder hits across the full kit.
The pad layout follows a standard MPC-style arrangement so the muscle memory translates. The app is useful for sketching a groove idea quickly, demonstrating a rhythm to a collaborator, or practising pad technique when you do not have access to a physical kit or controller.
Velocity sensitivity changes what is possible with a touch-screen instrument. Without it, you are tapping binary hits, loud or silent. SUS4 Drum Pad gives you dynamic control so the performance sounds like a performance rather than a step sequence.
