SUS4 Sketchpad
Catch a song idea: lyrics, chords, a hummed melody and voice notes.
SUS4 Sketchpad is a songwriting notebook for catching an idea before it disappears. Each sketch holds its key, tempo and time signature, your lyrics, a strip of chord symbols, voice notes and tags, so you can come back to it later without losing what you had in mind.
Available on iPhone, iPad and Mac. Hum a melody into the mic and Sketchpad turns it into MIDI notes you can drag to fix pitch and length, then export as a MIDI file for your DAW. It can suggest chord progressions in your sketch's key and draft lyric lines to get you past a blank page. It is not a DAW; it is the layer below one, where speed matters more than production quality.
A sketch that exists is more useful than a perfect arrangement that was never started. SUS4 Sketchpad is designed around that reality, prioritising the capture moment over the editing moment.
