SUS4 Transcribe lets you slow any audio (a track, a recording, a reference) and loop sections to work out exactly what is being played. Speed reduction preserves pitch so you are hearing the actual notes at a pace your ear and hands can follow.
Available on iPhone, iPad and Mac, the loop function is the core tool: set an in and out point around the phrase you are working on, and it repeats until you have it. Combine looping with speed reduction and even complex passages become workable.
Transcription is one of the most effective ways to study music. You are forced to listen precisely and commit what you hear to notation or to your instrument. SUS4 Transcribe removes the technical friction from that process so the work is in the listening, not in the tooling.
